Frequently Asked Questions

What does Film Supremacy charge?

Clients pay a 5% service fee on top of the accepted bid, with a minimum of $1.00. Freelancers pay a 10% fee, deducted from their payout. There are no other Film Supremacy fees. The minimum bid and job budget is $10.00.

When is the freelancer paid?

The client's payment is held until the job is complete. The freelancer is paid by PayPal 5 days after the job is marked complete. If there is a problem with the job, or a PayPal dispute is opened during that time, the payout waits until it is settled.

Can I get a refund?

If a job is cancelled before it is complete, the client can ask for a refund from the job page. We review each request under our Refund Policy. Approved refunds go back to the PayPal account or card used to pay. A full refund includes the service fee. If only part of the job is refunded, the refunded amount is taken out of the freelancer's payout. Once a freelancer has been paid, refunds are only made in exceptional cases.

Which payment methods can I use?

Your PayPal account, or a debit/credit card through PayPal. Film Supremacy never sees or stores your card details. Prices are in US dollars.
